About Us
Since 1948 Davis Audio Visual has set a standard for excellence, innovation and customer satisfaction within the audio visual industry. Established in 1948 by recording pioneer Ainslie Davis, Davis Audio Visual became one of the nation's largest suppliers of presentation, educational technology and equipment. Catalogue sales were the driving force in this pre-internet era and in the Western United States Davis Audio Visual reigned nearly unchallenged. With its corporate headquarters in Denver and branch offices in Wichita, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Cheyenne, Phoenix, Fort Worth, and San Diego, Davis quickly established itself as a household name among corporations and other institutions. Ainslie Davis was also instrumental in establishing national broadcasting and video standards ( NTSC ) and was selected to testify before Congress on behalf of that effort.
In the coming years, our company would contract with military and government agencies for the installation of high-end data imaging and communication systems. Davis' client list included Martin Marietta's Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, NORAD Headquarters at Cheyenne Mountain, and Denver International Airport. Other branches of operation included equipment rentals, meeting and event services, repair, media duplication and editing services. As the world transitioned into the digital age, companies and individuals alike turned to Davis to help them navigate a rapidly changing and increasingly complex technological landscape.
Today, Davis Audio Visual has narrowed its scope, concentrating on equipment rentals and providing technical services for meetings, conventions and special events. This renewed focus has uniquely enabled us to excel within the convention and meeting services market. Our customers trust us with their events because we understand that every project reflects upon them personally. You will see an unequaled commitment to quality and value in each and every project, every event, every rental - every transaction. That is our promise.
